Wellness

Our Approach

We are currently in the midst of the greatest health crisis of our generation, and likely our lifetime. The Coronavirus pandemic swept the world at the beginning of 2020 and has left us all affected in some way, whether that be physically, mentally or emotionally. Now more than ever, the health and wellness sector will be a crucial component in our lives, helping us to relax, recuperate and adjust to a post-Covid society.

Prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was widely recognised that mental health issues are an ever-worsening problem in the UK. Mental health services across the country are under strain and underfunded, and while the narrative that ‘self-care is crucial’ has run through the mainstream media and social media, it hasn’t been reflected in the ability to gain access to critical services. Overall life expectancy is also on the rise, and with it comes a rise in the statistics for life threatening conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure
and coronary heart disease which increases the level of demand for healthcare services and resources.

It is clear that wellness and wellbeing will be a major societal consideration over the next 10-20 years, and with the existing problems within the healthcare sector being exacerbated by the current pandemic, we are going to need new and innovative solutions to help solve existing problems.
